The Guardian mobile app and the associated mobile applications (collectively referred to as the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. The Guardian app connects you to 3rd party resources that have their own websites and data collection policies. Please be aware of those as you're browsing and/or seeking resources. We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

 

Definitions

• Personal Data - Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

In-App Deletion

1. Open the mobile application
2. Navigate to the "Side Menu" and click on your name
3. In the profile section, select the "edit" option
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page
5. Click on the "Delete My Data" button
6. Confirm your decision when prompted

This process will delete all your personal data, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and any other contact information that you decided to associate with your account.

Email Request - If you prefer or if you're having trouble with the in-app deletion process, you can send a data deletion request via email:

 

• Send an email to support@appdocumentation.com
• Use the subject line "Personal Data Deletion Request"
• In the body of the email, please include:
• Your full name
• The email address associated with your account
• Your phone number (if provided to the app)
• Any other contact information you've shared with us
• A clear statement requesting the deletion of your personal data

 

Please note that some information may be retained for legal or administrative purposes, such as to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. However, this retained information will not include personal contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, or physical addresses.
